Hello Lads and Lasses.
I am a retired gentleman(?) living in the depths of Lincolnshire. I have returned to photography after a break of some thirty years. How things have changed! I equipped myself with a Canon 550D thinking the old skills would soon return, but with so many new terms, techniques and acronyms to learn, I confess I am at the struggling end of the expertise scale just now. However, I have purchased an excellent tutorial and I am thoroughly enjoying poking the remaining brain cell into sitting up and taking notice.
My primary photographic interests are in nature and landscape. The latter I can handle, but the pension sadly does not stretch to huge telephoto lenses so the former will have to be a little more restricted than in the days of yore.
I shall bore you no longer other than to say that I hope I can put into the forums at least as much as I will undoubtedly take out. Please bear with me when I ask yet another dumb question.

. I also use to live in Donington, between Boston and Spalding and now wish I had started birdwatching whilst I lived there. All those areas on the door step and not interested in the slightest :shrug:
