Hi all.

Been looking to join up for a while now and finally managed to get on board !!

Been into photography for ever and a day, but had a few years out until digital cameras got cheaper !

Had a Fuji bridge S5800, which was ace but after a few months I bought a 450d. After about 18 months, I upgraded to a 7D and haven't looked back !

Don't use it as much as I should but hopefully with some inspiration from here, I might get back into it !

Hi Rob, welcome to TP
It's been a few days since you posted and you'll soon find things move so fast around here that posts can slip under the radar and into internet oblivion. It is worth sticking to though because it really is a great place to be.
Nice choice of camera and pleased for you that it is giving you the performance and helping your photography move forward. Should be a while before you outgrow that but don't get tempted into the Talk Equipment forum or you will soon find you are a few thousand pounds short of the stuff you really *need*.
Inspiration can be found aplenty here and the different forums are clearly labeled to peak your interest.
If it's just a case of forcing yourself to use your camera more then may I suggest the photo52 that SimonTALM kindly posts in the Competitions, Challenges and Inspiration section. He gives you a theme each week and you have to plan and shoot to fit the theme. It is very informal and folks get weeks behind but it is a personal challenge so no pressure to complete. I started it myself this year but not posting my results. I only got to week 20 before circumstances meant I had to stop but I found thinking about what I wanted and then planning how to shoot it, really made me use my camera in ways I hadn't previously. As a group they are up to week 47 now so this year is nearly over so play catch up or hope he will be doing it again next year.

Lovely images, I really like the sense of speed you get in number two.

Iv been here about 3 weeks now, great place, very addictive! but you get some good advice and yes the threads move very quickly there is too much to look at! Have fun!

In the process of moving house at the moment, so not got much time for it all at the moment. Hopefully over Xmas, I'll have some more time to get to know the camera haha !!
