Hi there!

My friend pointed me in the direction of these forums.

I'm an enthusiastic amateur photographer who particularly likes Air Shows and sporting events. I also like close up photography.

I've just recently upgraded my D40 to a D5100 along with a 35mm 1.8 prime and a 55-300 telephoto.

Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

I just took delivery of a Nikon D5100 + Kit lens and also a 55-300mm and 35mm 1.8 plus a couple of filters! I'll be snap happy this weekend
