Hi all, just a brief introduction to make my presence known.

I am starting to take photography more seriously and after years of using 'budget' compacts, I want to make the jump to an SLR and some decent glass.

Thanks for the welcome, all.

I am mostly interested in wildlife/landscape photography however I am also interested in aviation, motorsport and possibly astronomy too.
 
As above welcome to TP James, enjoy yourself here :)

Lots of useful help, advice and tips on here, don't be afraid to ask questions, plenty of helpful bods here ... When you have an idea of budget and what you are after, have a search in the talk equipment section and if you can't find an answer, ask away :)
