Hi to everyone on the site, just wanted to introduce myself.
My association with photography has been quite long (30+ years) but with some very large gaps between serious periods.
My first serious (I got a second hand SLR for my 13th birthday but can't remember what it was) SLR was a Pentax ME Super which traveled the world with me on many mountaineering expeditions and military excursions shooting with a 50mm prime and a Miranda 28-200.
After a gap in my experience I graduated to a Nikon FE2 as part of my job.
Since leaving the military I entered he Digital age with a Nikon D70S which I hope to upgrade soon to a D300.
Not much else to say except I will be putting up a gallery soon and hope to both learn and contribute as much as possible.
