Hi All
been around photography, when i got my first Job, I went out and bought a SLR all manual cosina camera with standard 50mm lens in 1974
then some lenses, flash guns, and a spare body - which was automatic
mainly took slide film
Then moved 1995 onto canon - Eos5 , eos600 various lenses, backdrops, reflector, etc etc etc
took portraits, weddings, product as i tried to start a small business , webdesign
scanned the film slides/negs on a nikon ls3 scanner and played with PS7 and made up a lot of images, montages, removed backgrounds etc etc
then got bored lugging the kit around and business didn't work out
changed to a canon Pro1 2004 small compact and an L quality lens
played with RAW and post processing a little
but that didnt work out - very limited , so lost interest until a few months ago - asked by groom at a wedding to take some pictures of the guests during the day and evening -he gave me his Nikon DSLR with a couple of lens
so got me interested again
went out a few weeks ago and purchased a
60D, 18-200 canon lens, 50mm macro,
looked at the 24-105L but a little too rich
i take all sorts of images, what is going at the time - so not specialising in anything
slowly realising that there is a learning curve for DSLR @ 18Mb raw images
Interested in Hi-Fi, Computers, fly fishing, target shooting, TV , AV
married, divorced, living with new partner, 2 boys of my own and step, boy and girl - all 4 grown up now
currently looking for work....
