Hello All
I've been on here for a couple of days now, enjoying looking at all the interesting posts and excellent photos, and felt I should now say hello, so hello!
I'm a keen amateur and have been taking photos for a few years, but always on auto setting until recently. I have a Nikon D50, which I really like, and started a City and Guilds Photography course in January, which is helping me to experiment and broaden my knowledge of my camera and the subject in general. I had a big birthday at the weekend, so managed to get a couple of nice new lenses as a result, as well as Photoshop Elements 9 - like a kid a in sweetshop, I was!
I'll brave it and show a couple of my favourite shots, although these were taken on auto, so probably could have been a lot better!
