Just thought I'd say hi :) Photography is a hobby one I am trying to spend more time doing, I'm a member of a photographic society but am finding I need to look for other ways to mix with other photographers to learn, share and socialise...... so here I am.......
I've been taking it more seriously as a hobby in the last year but still not sure if I've found my style but I keep on trying......

There quite a few members from Chorley on TP, we have lots of meet ups and often go out together your welcome to joins us if you like :thumbs:

So another photographer from Chorley then:) I had a look at your flickr page and your going to fit right in with the Chorley lot. In fact I'm sure we have been either at the very same event or the same location as a huge number of your shots.

Great chatting to you at work today about photography and the ideas you have. Also love your pics on Flickr (thanks for the link).

You will find TP a great place to learn and share your photos, comments and feedback. Not to mention some of the great meets that are arranged.

Just Dave, who I mentioned at work today, I see has already beat me to welcoming you here. Dave is a fantastic guy with a wealth of information and knowledge about photography, fungi, landscapes etc and has produced some fab night portrait shots too. He also has some fantastic creative ideas, so check out some of his threads, especially the fireworks and halloween, to name a few.

Have a great time here and no doubt we will catch up at work soon.

Hiya Lisa, thanks for pointing Emma in the right direction. Emma was telling me at work today that you introduced her to TP so good on you :thumbs: BTW Emma and I have worked in the same office, since the reshuffle last year some time, and didn't even know we were both into photography, so great to have a fellow tog in the same room. :D

Hey, does Accy/CLM fall under the auspice of Chorlites? :p I would hate to feel left out :lol: (after all only down the drag).

Anyway Dave, no need to blush, you do a fantastic job for this forum so credit to you!

I'll PM you the link to Emma's flickr site now (I'm sure Emma won't mind, after all there are some fantastic photos there).

Yep sure is a small world :crowded::wave:
 
Dawn kindly gave me the link to your flickr certain are some fine shots you have, I have made you a contact, I think theres around 16 or 17 members from Chorley and local surroundings, 4 or 5 of us Chorley folk get together regular for togging days out and missions LOL, and theres also lots of other members from Lancashire area, and there are always a few Northwest meets going on as well, :thumbs:
