Hi everyone, just signed in as this looks like a friendly place.
I've been interested in photography for many years, having first sat in the loft with my dad under red light making B&W prints. That was in the 60's. Was given my first camera, an Agfa Silette II when I was about 10. Bought a Zenit E when I was about 17 and then bought a Pentax ME Super in 1980. This kit was stolen in New York, but replaced on the insurance. Did lose a bunch of shot film though... Used the replacement Pentax until 2002 when I 'went digital' with a little Fuji Finepix which I used until 2006 when I was able to afford a Canon 20D. Subsequently bought a 50D to go with it and was pretty well set on getting a 7D to replace the 20D, but am weighing up pros and cons against the 70D.
I have a broad interest in subject matter including, landscapes (urban and rural), Motorsport, wildlife, birds, travel, music. I like taking pictures of people too, but I'm not good at this. I'm ok at the other stuff, but am always keen to learn and improve.
