Good afternoon one and all

I met a forum member in Athens last week who introduced me to the site. I forget his name for the moment but I will remember it.

I liked the look for the place so thought I'd stop by and say Hi!

I shoot Nikon equipment - my signature will expand on this - and am already a member of Nikon Cafe and Planet Nikon. As both of these are US sites, I thought I'd join something a little more local.

Well, if it helps, he had a nice website, was I believe a fireman and lived in Essex (Benfleet I think)?

But I may be wrong...

Oh, and he shoots Canon.

Not too far away then. Perhaps you could give me a tip or two for places of interest to shoot nearby. I've only lived this way for a few years and don't really know the area yet.
