Hello folks, big Hi from here in Bristol (or Bristle as the real locals have it!).
Gramps has been taking photos for more years than he cares to remember and mostly with Nikon, FG, FE and similar (but going back to Kodak Box!!) and more recently a D1X which started to trigger more active interest.
Just got myself a D3 from those nice people at Clifton Cameras and picked up a few decent lenses so have booked a training day with a local pro, hopefully I'll be seeing some better results in the future.
This is certainly a very active and informative set of forums ... so much to learn ... so little time!
