Hi everyone. I am very much a novice who has a point and shoot that can do far more than I can!! I will be pestering you all sooooon with some VERY basic questions....so you've been warned :)

I have a Canon Powershot S60 (point and shoot)......there seems to be so much info in 'talk photography'....can anyone point me in the direction of any sections specific to beginners who don't have a DSLR or is just a case of coming across things that are relevant as I scroll thro' (as well as posting questions of course)

Not really anything specific as such Fred, but you might find the odd little gem here and there, anything specific just make your own thread and ask away :) Photography is generally the same no matter what you camera (one of the joys of it) it just might be a slightly different route to achieving the same result, so most things should still be relevant :)

I can't promise you might not want a Digital SLR after a while though :p
