Got my D7000 about five weeks ago and finding it a steep learning curve too. Reading some of the comments on other fora about its inability to produce sharp images I was almost taken in when I saw my first ones. However, I soon realised that it was operator error and not technical.
Now Im loving it though I can see its going to be an expensive hobby!
Ive posted a couple of images on the Bird section and on Transport. Always happy to receive feedback so do have a look and give it to me straight!
 
Thanks for the welcome folks. I am on another forum but it seems that if you post anything it ends in a debate about how many faults the Nikon D7000 has. Got very boring.
Looking around this forum I can see Ive a very long way to go but I just love some of the images Im seeing and cant wait to try out some of the methods used.
