Signed up to this forum yesterday as it looks like it's quite popular and has a good flow through of users. My name is Karl and I live in Leeds. Been using a DSLR since 2009, bought at first mainly to take photos of my daughter but have since grown more and more addicted to many types of photography (landscape, abstract, portrait, I'll try anything really). I had a few shots published in photo magazines, one in the Guardian 'in pictures' feature and currently have a photo in a calendar for a park in Leeds.
One of my main reasons for using forums is to inspire myself and get off my behind and take shots. Also, to share my limited knowledge where I can.
