Just a quick hello to all.

Just in the process of getting into DSLR photography with a view to photographing wild birds mainly, particularly seashore birds.

Haven't chosen which camera I'll be getting yet, but I think 2nd hand entry/mid-range level will suffice to get me started.
I'm sure I'll be full of questions,hope you all don't mind and if you've any advice or recommendations I'll be very grateful.

Morning & Welcome

Hang around & get involved & in a month or so you'll be able to access the classifieds here, there's always a good selection going. I'm a Canon girl, him indoors had a Nikon D60 but switching to a Canon 500D really brought me on (it just seemed easier to use). In the meantime, go to some stores & have a handle & think about what you want from your camera too- there will always be people on hand to point you in the right direction should you need it
