Hi folks, Im a complete newbie to photography, forums and processing software. So far I've got a Canon 550d twin lens kit and a free download of LR4. I'm trying not to get bogged down learning things I dont really need to know at the moment, and start with the basics lol..
Anyway, just thought I'd say Hi :wave: Looks like a good forum, so hopefully will learn heaps.

Best way to learn, look at some other peoples work, and emulate it into something you can do yourself - gives you a goal (it does for me), google tutorials (loads on the net) and youtube with lots of example tutorials.

Get some pics up, let people C&C it, dont be worried about people saying things about your photo skills, listen to the advice, will help you loads. Theres some really nice people on TP. And of course, ENJOY :)

I put my first keeper with some pp in c&c yesterday, as yet there's no replys!!:shrug: Which either means, I should sell all my gear and take up golf......OR it's that good no one has any tips to improve my skills...:lol::lol:
