Hi everyone,
I'm Tom, a student who studies at Swansea University in South Wales, and I'm from Blackpool, which is where I stay when I'm not at uni. I can't quite recall what I searched in google, but I ended up coming across the meet up that's happening at Blackpool Zoo on the 10th!
I've looked for a photography society around these parts in Blackpool (I'm the secretary of my uni's photog soc), and the only ones around here cost £30 to join! A bit excessive considering I'm only here 20 weeks a year! It only costs £5 to join our society in Swansea xD Anyway, I'd be quite interested in joining in on this meet up at the zoo, so I'll be posting in that thread shortly ^^
For anyone who's interested, my kit is as follows :
Nikon D80, 18-55mm VR kit lens, 70-300mm VR, 50mm AI F1.8, SB-800 flashgun, Manfrot 190XPROB tripod, and finally my trust Lowepro Vertex AW 100 bag
I sometimes bring my Macbook along for the ride too in my bag if I'm doing a photo shoot with a model. It gets very heavy!
