I'm retired from being a professional Graphic Designer & Art Director, running my own company based in Chelsea, London.
As a boy growing up in Worcestershire (and Europe), I have always loved taking photos and started with a plastic Brownie box camera.
Before retiring in 1999 I had owned various SLR Nikon F's and latterly a Canon EOS1 plus Canon 650, 620(?) bodies and several lenses but all in the pre-digital era. i sold them all and bought a digital compact and am now on my third generation of FinePix F500EXR.
Most of what I post will be shot on that compact - If I'm wearing trousers I have a camera on me!
Recently I have been borrowing my daughter's Canon 100D DSLR and now plan to get a Canon 700D plus some Canon lenses but will continue to carry my compact - It's the difference between capturing a shot and getting no shot.
My professional background means that I am hardwired into being critical but always in a hopefully constructive way. I'm here to help and to be helped.
