Thought I would join up to hopefully get some help and advice from the experts. 
I've been taking photos (mainly of motorsport) for years, but recently bought my first DSLR. It's quite a basic Nikon D3100 with a 18-55 and 70-300 lens. I'm aiming to get the most out of it before upgrading to something better.
