I'm Carol,
I have been doing photography for a few years but always used a Fujifilm Finepix but I found that it wasnt giving me the quality I really wanted so I was advised to go for a Canon.
So onto everyones best friend Ebay to look for a bargain. I eventually managed to find a Canon 300D (which I now know is an Entry Camera but I don't mind that) Next was the job of finding lenses and I managed to get a 18-55mm, 35-80mm and 80-200mm
I enjoy taking photographs of Birds, Wildlife and Nature but have recently started on people.... my partner is a Specialist Northern Soul DJ so we tend to travel to venues across the country and I have started to take photographs of the Dancers .... lots of movement, fast, spins, backdrops and kicks involved. Much harder than I thought to capture them well but I am learning
Thats all I am trying to do at the minute - learn about the camera and what it can do
So if anyone wants to give any advice feel free - I dont mind a helping hand
