Morning all!
I'm karl, from mansfield, nottingham.
I've been into photography since I got my first digital camera about 9 years ago. Last year I decided to take it a step further and purchase my first dslr. As with most I'm on a but of a budget, and tested myself to the nikon d3000. Got that as it is a nice introduction camera, got all the bit you'd want but easy enough to use. I'm slowly moving away from the automatic settings now though. And enjoying experimenting.
So far only got the kit lens, but I do have a new prime 50mm f.1.8 on it's way along with a few other goodies like filters, flash gun and flash defusers.
Not really got a theme at min. I like cars and motor sport, taking pics portraits of my kids. Along with general experimenting. So pretty much everything at min, lol.
Been having a bit of a look around, some impressive stuff, but think I'll wait a while before I put any on, lol.
