Hi My names Paul, I've enjoyed taking pictures for a while but always used point and shoot compacts. Everyone has always called me "snap happy" cos i take so many photos but i've never been into serious photography. I've just bought a Canon 350D to try and learn a bit more about photography and hopefully get some better pictures !!

Any advice given will be greatly appreciated.

I've uploaded a couple of shots that i took on my TZ3 at the lake district but i messed up the re-sizing of the 1st one so the resolution is low. I'll correct this later.
