Hello all,
I'm in Northern England and after seeing a reference to this place on another site I had a quick look and I thought I'd sign up.
I wouldn't say that I'm a good photographer but at times I do hope and pray for a little technical competence and more importantly a pleasing image. I've been interested in photography since about the age of 10 when I got my first camera but I had to wait until my 20's to get my first SLR (a nice Nikon) and although I've since gone digital I seem to have accumulated some nice film cameras recently.
I'm currently most likely to be using my Canon 20D fitted with a Sigma 12-24mm or a relatively wide prime, or an LX2, or my new pride and joy, a GF1 with 20mm f1.7 or a Bessa R with 35mm f2.5.
Please be gentle with me or I'll slink off and cry...
Other than that I'll look forward to looking at the nice pictures you lot take and seething with jealousy.
