I did have some info in here about me, but I think I am just going to lurk. To be honest, the welcome I have received is less than warm, and some members seem to be actively offensive to anyone new. I do not feel in a position to actively contribute - quite frankly if I'd been doing something for years and was getting told what I was doing wrong by some new upstart, I wouldn't be very impressed, so of course newbies are going to be taking more from the forum than they give. And yet some members of the forum appears to want active contribution (not just participation, there is a difference) before you can be invited into things, and yes, I do mean the classifieds. Perhaps with a bit of guidance and a steer from some of the older and more experienced members of the forum I might be in a position to advance to the point where I could contribute something useful. As it is, I don't feel welcome, so I'm probably not going to bother. By lurking, I might see a different side to the forum, but as it is (and it could just be that everyone with the time to post during the day is part of an old guard), I have no real incentive to stay. I'm not particularly fond of just being used as a whipping boy, even if stuck behind a keyboard. Shame, really. I was hoping that at some point, I might have actually had something worth contributing.
