Hi! Beginner here

Hi all, just got my first camera, a Canon 550d. Totally new to photography, other than seeing a couple of friends do a bit. Was recommended this site as a mine of information!

So far I have the 18-55 IS lens which came with the camera and a Canon EF 75-300, oh, and lots of bad photos of random objects surrounding my flat!

Hi!! Oh I have literally just joined now and also have the same camera and just bought a 55-250mm lens! I really want a macro lens now tho as I love close up shots. Not done much photography before and bit scared of my camera! Ha ha. Good luck with it!

Get a Raynox DCR250 to go with the 55-250 works well for not a lot of money.

Have a look HERE It will cost around 35-40 quid and it fits on the filter screw (just clips in) on your 55-250mm, (i use on the Nifty Fifty as well). No, its not as good as the Canon Macro, but then again just a fraction of the price. Log on to Fickr and search for Raynox DCR-250 and you will see what can be achieved!
