Hi everyone,

thought i'd say hi!

new to the photography game, just having a bit of fun at the moment playing with some new ideas, and thought i'd take a look around here

how is everyone!!!!

such a warm welcome :)

like i say at the moment, I am what I would class as "AMATUER" looking primarily for a bit of fun in terms of taking some shot's here and there.

I dont have a big camera.....or shed loadsa money so at the moment like i say, playing around is primarily the name of the game take it from there see how it goes.

Any one got any tips on good starter cameras?
subjects......I hear kids and pets are fairly difficult lol
software for editing and enhancing images (incl raw) preferably free lol

hi there obviously all we talk about is photoshop or hdr photomatix at the moment. , i wouldnt worry about the techncal side and concentrate on what you like.
Right now autumn is a good time what with the low light and colours.


My recomendation is look at the work of Ansel Adams.

cheers mate I will look into that :)

I am thinking of doing high speed images......like cars an bikes what would I need for this ?!?!?

any one any ideas on what camera would be good to start with, and the price range I should be looking at spending?!?!?!
