Hello everybody, my name is Phil, I'm 55 and live in Liverpool. I've always had an interest in photography, but only on a point and shoot basis, and I would like to progress further.
My first ever camera, bought for me on my 21st birthday, was a Minolta 110, I loved and for this reason I've always tended to stick with Minolta.
Right now I have a Sony a77 and a Sony a700, I prefer the 700 as the 77 seems overly complicated to me at this stage.
I also have a Minolta X300 film camera that I love to bits.
I'm looking forward to the forum, and to picking up a lot of useful hints and tips.
