Hi everyone :wave: I have already posted a few times, so really should introduce myself lol

I've just bought my first DSLR, a Canon 550d, it's just been delivered this morning so I can't wait to get home and start having a play around with it

I am dog mad, I own, breed and show a large breed, so am hoping to get some nice action shots at the shows in the future, aswell as some great stills. I know this will be a huge learning curve, but it's gonna be enjoyable and I can just go at my own pace, fab :thumbs: although I'm sure I shall be coming here to ask lots of questions :D
 
hi Universalady,I'm new too and also have a 550D.i can feel your excitement,hope you enjoy it. what sort of breed do you have.i used to have a Afghan and a lasso apso/s***zau cross.look forward to your shots
 
Hi SsSsSsSsSnake, I have Rotties, have just put the battery on to charge, so when I get home, I shall have a go at getting a few shots :)
 
welcome to the forum Universalady- I too look forward to seeing some shots of these magnificent dogs, Ive owned several in my time, but now only have 2 springers

love rotties i lost mine to cancer 2 years ago, i have a bullmastif now, my rottie was my baby he was so loving, i just wish i had my camera when he was alive i would have got some lovely shots, my friend has a rottie boy he is 15 month but he wont stay still for a pic lol

Universalady - welcome! No dogs but I've got a few old Nikon's that THINK they're dogs and they certainly look dogged. My Mum's lab loves me though...
