Hi all, new to forum I use an eos 400d+grip i've had it for years and use it with a efs 18 55 sigma and a 17 70 sigma 70 200. I have a problem now of what to buy next, I was thinking about the 7d with a ef 70 200 2.8is or f4 with a 50mm 1.4. I cant make my mind up driving me a tad :cuckoo: Any help? I take photo's of my pet's in action, plus portrait and scenery.

I was thinking 3k ish for the camera and lens.

I have been offered the ef 70 200 2.8is mk2 for £1200 its from north korea I live in essex but no one has any of these lenses in stock for me to try out. I always use my Sigma 70 200 which is why i'm thinking about upgrading to the Canon L.

Anything from abroad will attract vat and customs duty. You will need to add these to your costs. Personally, I would not trust sending my money to North Korea ... :suspect:

Just make sure it is not a con .... At that price it sounds like it.

A friend is out there so even with duty still works out I would save a few pounds. I would have just liked to have seen/tried the lens before buying it. My alternatives are a mk 1 2.8is from fleabay for around 1k or I can get a brand new 70 200 f4is for £804. Have you used any of these lenses? Do you recommend one more than the other two?

Hi just dave I was looking at the is versions

Np all good  But I think I will go to london and get the ef 70 200 f is for £804 as I have been looking around and places like fleabay sell them from £650 ish a year old I just hope it will work good on a eos 7d fingers xed lol
