Hi i am Steve from sunny (sometimes) Bournemouth, have just recently purchased a D SLR, and having so much fun trying to work out how to use the thing. So far the site looks great so much info.

hope you get to feel comfortable with the dslr
dont think you have to use all the features right away
what you have really is a good/large sensor in the body and a removeable lens facility if you really need it and the chance to do raw processing
so concentrate on taking many shots to get used to the camera
