Hi folks,

Canon user here from Dublin! Own a 450D, which I have for approx a year, but have only recently had the time to start learning properly (that is out of Auto mode;))
Have spend a fair amount of time reading (in work :nono:) and its time to put it all into practice!!
Look forward to learning from and getting inspiration from you all! I'll probably be keeping a low profile for a while though until I get to know the run of the place! :D

Jezz I'm sorry - I got sucked into reading so much stuff on some of the Post Processing stuff and ended up finding a great link to revision3, with a guy called Bert doing the video's; that I totally forgot to check back here!

Will be a while before I'll be posting - lots of reading to do ;)
And with Chrimbo around the corner, its time to pick something for Santa to get me, or perhaps spoil myself!!
Considering the 50mm f1.8 "Nifty Fifty", seems to be alot of people's recommendation as being "best bang for your buck" - would love a f1.4 but dont think I can stretch that far with my wedding in April! :help: :bonk:

Make sure that the old self-timer is working OK on your camera in good time for the wedding, You can save loads of cash that way, more for your photography gear fund!! don't tell your other half that I suggested that! Enjoy TP

LOL - Yeah, she'd be well impressive if I suggested that I use the tripod and wireless remote!!

Might try this though!! "Well I could get the f1.4 lens and give my camera to your brother - he might get some good shots too!!"
