Well signed up a bit back so think its about time I said hello.
I live in Littleborough, Lancashire which is halfway between Leeds and Manchester in the Pennines. But I am currently living in Toronto, Canada on a year visa of which i have been here since the beginning of may.
Ive always enjoyed 'taking photos' with my old standard compact. But about a month agao I treated myself to a Panasonic Lumix FZ18 which I am enjoying very much. I didnt feel like I knew enough to go out and spend a fortune on a DSLR and a number of lenses, so found this camera to be a good inbetween, plus I got it for a bargin price.
Im slowly getting familiar with the settings and its capabilities and feel that Im improving every time I go out with the camera to shoot. I have already posted a few photos up.
I hope to stick around and hopefully with your advice on here, you will see my improvement over time.
