Just thought I would say hi! :)

I'm pretty new to photography, I bought a 2nd hand Canon 300D to learn with last year (but haven't done much learning....), I used the excuse of a trip to Kenya to persuade myself into buying it :)

I really like taking photos of animals and birds, although the 75-300mm lens that I bought with the camera isn't really up to it! But I have been pretty pleased with some of the shots I've managed so far!

I'm here to learn, so I'll be doing lots of reading, and asking stupid questions ;)

I should probably add I'm a bit of a Birdwatcher - I'm amazed by some of the photos on the Birds forum!
