Hi all I'm new here!
I've just bought an EOS 450D and have read 2 pages of the manual so far (just another 193 to go then
). I'm hoping by reading up to get my F stops in order as it's all a bit confusing right now.
I'm really a complete beginner with just point and shoot experience to my name. That's not quite true as I did have a Minolta 7000AF in the old days but have since forgotten it all!
High on my list of other interests is RC planes and maybe in due course I can get some pictures of my models posted. I've already spotted a fellow RC aviator MarkJayne on this forum. Rings a bell from other places!
My other camera is a dinky little Ixus 960IS bought mainly for the great movie mode and small light package. The Ixus will get strapped into an airframe and flown before too long and I have a GentLED CHDK shutter release interface to get some stills too. Maybe the EOS will fly one day, just need to put together a slightly bigger airframe.
I hope to stick around and learn lots here.
