I all, complete camera noob here, I've come over to glean all I can from you experts . I'm a dan hand with the editing side (graphic designer 7 years ) but never fancied actually taking the pics. But now it's time! Lookin forward to all the pitfalls and pleasure :?

I need an slr first! I'm 'in at the ground level'. Hase some from my bridge camera that i took I'll post later, I know very little do there probably poor . My 'eye' seems ok it's the method of making sure I get the best image that I'm Hopi g to learn

You can take cracking shots with a compact and crap shots with a Pro SLR, equipment isn't everything. At least that's what I tell the wife....

DLRs will give you more opportunity to take the shots but you can get good stuff with the phone camera!
