Hi all
after 14/15 years of digital compacts, I have just bought my first D-SLR (Canon EOS 1000D)

before the digital cameras came along I had (and still have) a EOS1000FN, before that was Canon, Pentax and ZENITH SLRs

I am very excited about having a "proper" camera again

I'll be honest with you It is like learning all over again, the "compact" years have sapped a lot of my old SLR knowledge

I am really happy to have finally taken the plunge and joined the D-SLR crowd

took a few today, will get them resized and up later on

don't hold your breath though...they are pretty shabby
