Very nice Geoff, it's a good start. i feel you certainly got what it take to be a successful photographer

hiya Geoff yes very good photos in the future you may want to consider a DSLR as they are much better quality  I'm also 16 & use a Sony alpha 300 :)

Hello Geoff.
Good shots there. I don't think I started out at that age, so you have a head start!

:welcome: to the forum, Nice set of images.

I particually like No1 and No5.

No4 nice as a pano, try cropping 25% of the top and bottom and see what you think.

Just a tip - but if you are posting several image it is easier to review them if they are numbered.

hi and welcome..definately on the right track
but could improve with some more experience...
my take on a shot is to eliminate too much extraneous sharp detail in and around the subject and at the edges
snow is another subject
composition
processing
all well within your capabilities and making photography more than pointing and shooting

Hi Geoff,
Love the scooby reference to the name btw !!

anyway, just my 2p - i've been taking quite a few autosport type pictures in recent years and a couple of things strike me from your pics, which are easily overlooked.

pic 1: pick up the litter around the car !! (will take 10 seconds to do and will stop a distraction)

pic 2: watch for shadows (im guessing thats a person's shadow on the front of the skyline) - two options here:- be very polite and ask if they dont mind moving for 2 seconds while you take a picture (99% of the time they will be fine) or close in on the car and take say a part picture of the car, maybe the headlight, back down the length of the car, or try and take the picture from the back.. (its hard with people about, but it is possible)
with the ferrari, i would also try and get a detail shot, maybe the rear badge, or something where the blue ropes dont spoil it. something different from the normal show pics !!

have a look at some jap car magazines and you'll soon have plenty of ideas.....

as above, i wish i was starting out at your age, but i'm not so have to make the best of it !!! hahahah

good luck mate and like everything, it can only get better !
