Hi
My name's Carl
I picked up a Canon 350D a few months ago now and have been getting to grips with it ever since, so far so good, but I've come to realise how much I could be spending to fund the habit
At the moment i'm just experimenting with things, black and white photos, Light-writing in the dark, long exposure, HRD (And failing..), anything really!
I also did my first 'For cash' photoshoot today for Derby College, taking portrait shots for a hairdressing competition. For the first 2 models I had use of a photo studio (Remote flashes, white backdrop etc) and got some great shots, but sadly we were kicked out by a disgruntled teacher so I had to make do with a white wall, some cealing spot lights (Which luckily moved) and my in-built camera flash
I'm basically here to get tips on how to shoots better photos and a bit more-so, tips on photo editing!
I'm currently saving for a remote flash, a couple of lenses (Zoom lens and a wide-angle lens) and some studio items like a white backdrop so I can continue to make a little cash on the side with my hobby
