Hello, Ive just joined today so I thought I would come and introduce myself. I am a female photographer based in Portsmouth. I have just left my full time job working in a call centre (soul destroying work!) and am setting up my own home studio at the moment. Over the past few years I have assisted a few photographers, mostly doing weddings or events. Aswell as the usual high key studio shots, I would love to get set up doing fetish photography aswell so that will be my next project, once im a bit more established with my home studio.

One day I hope to travel the world, camera in hand and be rich enough to buy myself a Hassleblad!

You will find interesting, I think, the various threads that other members here have started as they ventured into setting up their own studios. I've been subscribed to them, and find them amazingly insightful to follow / read.

Im still trying to find my way around here. Just a few questions? How do i archive old posts? I saw something about it the other day and now cant find whatever it was i was looking at. Also am i allowed to put my website in my signature? Its just it wasnt there one day and im wondering if it randomly dissapeared or if it was removed.
 
If you're looking for something, use the "search" option on the top. There's also the advanced "search" allowing you to put in more details.

Once you find a thread you like, you can go to "Thread Tools" and subscribe to it. This way, you can keep track of things. Naturally, any thread you post a reply into, you're automatically subscribed to that thread.

By going to "Quick Link => Subscribed Threads" you will see what you're subscribed into.
