Hey everyone,
Im Amy and im 19 and I live in Norfolk, I have been wanting a DSLR for a while now as have really enjoyed taking pictures on my parents point and shoot camera. So i've saved up and bought myself a second hand Nikon D40x off ebay. It cost me £270 but it includes the Nikon 18mm-55mm and the Nikon 55mm-200mm lenses, along with a Hama 52mm Polarizing Filter, Hama 52mm Sky Light Filter, Sonia 52mm Macro filters x 4, Macro, +1, +2, +4, Cokin Style filters with 52mm mount. Including a Blue, Grad Blue, Grad pink, Red, Grad Red, Grad Orange, ND, ND2, ND4, Orange and Box.
Dont really know what the different filters do, but im sure with a bit of fiddling I can work them out
Does anyone have any examples of what the outcome photograph would look like with the use of these filters? Dont really think the price was too bad considering just a standard D40x with the18mm-55mm lens was selling for a similar price, so im quite happy
Just waiting for it to come through in the post now, maybe here tomorrow, if not, on wednesday. I really cannot wait to get it and get out taking photographs.
Any tips and hints would be greatly appreciated, as I really do not know anything and its a massive learning curve for me.
Amy x
