Hey all - new from manchester

Hey All.

I am 31 years old, and quite new to Digital Photography (Well as a hobby).
I did have a Canon EOS 300 35mm camera quite some time ago, but it hasnt been used in many years.

I have just got in a position to purchase a DSLR so looking at buying a used Nikon D700 or D7000. Although i am open to advice.

I dont like taking photographs of anything in particular, howevr i consider my self a Life and Memories photographer. I want to catch the world the way i see it, to remember it and to share it.
