Just a quickie, but does anyone watch heroes, if so do you think that its all getting a bit complicated and complex :shrug:, half of the time i can't understand what is happening, but it could just be me :nuts:. Interested to what other peeps might think ;)
 
I'm up to the the 10pm one tonight!!! what about you.

Which one are you on then, sorry i forgot i watched the 10pm one, i'm confused, have i missed another one.
 
I don't try to guess what is going on, or about to happen, like some people do. I just watch it and take it as it comes. Sometimes it can be just too much hard work trying to second guess plot lines when all I want to do is just sit back and let it wash over me. Otherwise, I think it's going quite well.
 
Massive heroes fan here :nuts:

A friend of mine has been getting the latest episodes from 'somewhere' and it's become like a drug - the wait between the second and third season was unbearable!

My favourite character has to be Syler - loving his change in outlook. Love all the characters, though - such a brilliant program. ;)
 
Yep, Sylar is the standout character this season. I do find all this time travelling a bit confusing though. I'm currently on ep7, which i watched on tuesday ;)

I'm enjoying the programme, but something will happen and i think EH!! where did that come from. I much prefer Sylar as the bad guy though it really does not suit him being a goody two shoes. :shake:

erm.. not sure. I think we may be on ep6 in th UK? I'm watching at US pace, which is a week ahead?

BBC HD have next weeks episode on at 10pm so if you're watching it on HD you're a week in front.

I don't think series 3 has the impact of 1 or 2, I just hope it's already been written with an ending so it's not going to end up like Lost, a member of the Lost cast admitted they kept extending it because of the $$$$$
 
I find it confusing yet strangely compulsive. All this jumping around from one time to another does my head in.

That's more than made up for though by Ali Larter. :love: OOOH need a cold shower now!

Its one of those shows that you don't always understand but you have to watch anyway. Ok which one is Ali Larter :bonk: I want to be able to mind read like parkman and self heal and fly now that would be cool :D

Loving series 3, Loving how we dont know who is good or bad, I am watching on bbc3 pace and also loving the fact that Elle has come back woo hoo!! More Elle please.

Really enjoying series 3 - a real return to form after they lost their way in the early part of series 2. (I just hope that we have seen the last of West - every time he appeared on screen I felt the urge to kill rise!)
 
loving the new series, following it ok so far. Sylar is the stand out character i agree, and Peter? well hes just being a total numpty at the moment. Loved the puppet master bloke (cant remember his name) very creepy.

Great on BBC HD too!! Finally something worth watching on that channel.

And yes, more Elle please, she's electric! snig......oh erm.... i mean :lol:

Really enjoy Heroes, but have I missed some of it. At the end of season 2, Hiro and Peter were squaring up to eachother. Then the beginning of season 3 seemed to jump. I don't remember Nikki dying and how did Adam end up in the coffin? What happened between Hiro and Peter?

Or are they going to do what they did in season 1 and have a back story episode?

You missed an episode by the sounds of it.

Peter finds out that Adam actually wants to unleash the virus and stops him from doing so.
Hiro buries Adam alive by teleporting him into a coffin.
Monica is kidnapped by a street gang and Niki saves her, but gets trapped in a burning, exploding building.
Elle saves Suresh, Maya and Molly from Sylar's clutches.
Sylar regains his powers using Claire's blood.
Nathan has a press conference to go public with his power, but is shot before he can do so.

I remember the last two from the first episode of the currentr series but I don't remember the others. :thinking:

Now I'm annoyed! I had it in Sky+ with a series link which disappeared at the episode I thought was the last. Ah well, I could always rent a copy of the DVD.

You've answered my main plot questions though, so cheers for that. :thumbs: Hasn't stopped me enjoying season 3 so far.
 
Season 3 has been great, much improved from last seasons efforts.

Don't think Heroes will be with us much longer though as the ratings in the US have been awfull.

Also I wish they'd kill off Peter Petrelli as Milos acting leaves me screaming at the TV

he's been rubbish from the 1st episode of season 1 imo, the scene where present Peter was talking to future Peter just highlighted his lack of talent.
 
that was particularly bad yes! lots of gritting of teeth etc.

thank the lord for Sylar.
 
I think that always been the plan, have Peter as the goody goody nauseating hero, however Sylar begins life as the baddie but gradually we are bought to like him more and more each week.

I believe the main reason season 2 was weak was down to the fact there was no ultimate bad (like Sylar season 1) Sylar back now adds so much more to it. I really do hope they have a clear and defined plan because there are times when it seems to me that they are using the time travel bit to fix things too often unless people hopping back has caused all of this too happen and it gets explained in the future.

Was it me or was there just a little bit too much of smiley panting coming from Clare and Elle when on the plane, a definite little nod to the fellas out there!:thumbs: :woot:
 
on the same vain I was listening to Heroes unmasked on Wednesday (was doing something on the laptop and had it on in the background), and the grunts and groans from Sylar and Claire when he was searching through her brain were errrmm...interesting.

Didn't help matters that Hayden then went on to say next that the success of Heroes is all down to friction..nearly needed a new laptop after that one...






(from nearly spilling coke over it!)
