I've just spent a while looking through your thread and love it. Some fantastic photo's, I can't believe you don't get more comments...I'll be following this from now on! :)
 
I dont usually like HDR shots but yours are awesome.. what scenic locations you have to shoot, very lucky.. love the palace infrared and canal shots.. very good :)
 
I was using my Tamron 70-300mm to follow a bee around the garden for some macro shots (close focus at 300mm means I don't get close enough to scare them!)
When the Robin appeared really close, I just swung the camera round and got one shot before it flew off. I didn't think f/13 and full-power flash would work well, but it really seems to have brought out the details.

Here's a 100% crop of the feathers:

Mich - could you tell that the Blue Tit was HDR'd? Tried to keep it really really subtle, I just wanted the blue/darker areas to have a wee bit more detail.

no, very subtle.. and agree, the detail is wonderful.. as on the robin.. what a plump little thing the feathers look amazing on it

tinity church is fab.. love the light and angle
 
Oh wow.

Shots from the 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th, 12th, 14th, 18th, 19th, 21st, 27th and 28th are all exeptional... your landscape HDR stuff is just on the spot!

oh my word that sunset shot is amazing.. fantastic photos as usual but that really stands out for me!
