I dont usually like HDR shots but yours are awesome.. what scenic locations you have to shoot, very lucky.. love the palace infrared and canal shots.. very good
Mich - could you tell that the Blue Tit was HDR'd? Tried to keep it really really subtle, I just wanted the blue/darker areas to have a wee bit more detail.
I was using my Tamron 70-300mm to follow a bee around the garden for some macro shots (close focus at 300mm means I don't get close enough to scare them!)
When the Robin appeared really close, I just swung the camera round and got one shot before it flew off. I didn't think f/13 and full-power flash would work well, but it really seems to have brought out the details.
