Hi

I am shooting a small family shoot on Friday evening - my white background has gone walkabouts somewhere and wondered if anyone could advise as to an alternative that I can pick up from a local high street store?

I was thinking a thick cotton sheet - what do you think?

try a nylon shower curtain
added bonus - it's already got holes to support it!

Would that not be a bit shiney?

No idea on an alternative though :( I used a white tablecloth once, didnt work very well :( (though that was because it was quite creased)

Thanks - I did think of a shower curtain but it wont be big enough - thats why i was thinking about a kingsize white cotton sheet.

White roller blind (window type wide ebough for your group), large builders clips from B&Q, £25 all in. Clip the blind to an existing curtain rail or similar & fire away. Works well for me...

You could try a dust sheet used by decorators, probably available from you local B&Q. I would suggest though that you get the group far enough away from the background so that any creases are out of focus. And watch the lighting on it.
