Ha, that'll make a nice change.

lol.
Should it read `Parcel Force` though?

Got to say I've never had a problem with our `post` (that I know of) Maybe the Christmas tip helps ;)
How many still `tip` their postie?

If I ever got the same one 2 days running I might!

Even more helpful would be if you could please answer the door when they do :p
I came into work one morning to hear that customer had complained that I hadn't rung
the door bell and could I take the item out for redelivery, I had actually rung the doorbell
Got to the door, rang the bell, couldn't hear anything so knocked as well, customer came to the door,
smiling, said sorry for knocking didn't hear the bell ring, only to be told the bell hadn't worked
for ages :banghead:

Sorry....but personal experience tells me to expect a card rather than a parcel even when I'm in.
Doorbell works, and is loud.
Door knocker is in excellent "ratatat" condition.
(Even used to have a loud barky dog too)
I have a wall mounted post box rather than a letter box, and I've even had to collect regular A4 envelopes from the collections office because it seems old Einstein postie thinks it won't fit. (Clearly hasn't tried because there's acres of room).

and there lies the problem in your previous post you state

If I ever got the same one 2 days running I might!

so you are tarring them all with the same brush because one Old Einstein Postie has problems

Seem to be the way with all the delivery companies, one bad delivery makes them useless

Remind me, where did I say useless again?

Besides, if it was the same one leaving the cards each time, I would only need to complain about the one.

Not necessarily you, but there have been many threads complaining about various different companies and
calling them useless because one delivery has gone wrong, whilst others don't have problems,.

So how often do you get the same person ? Is it just not 2 days running ?

I've decided to help posties this year by not sending any bloody christmas cards. Save a small fortune in stamps, reduce landfill (we recycle them but many people don't) and save shoe leather!

Never really had any issues with deliveries, we're always out though so some leave next door, some we have to collect. Not too keen on the new Post Office policy of having to bring proof of identity for the person that the parcel is for rather than proof you live at the address (and have the card they left!). Last time I picked up a parcel for me but could not collect the one for my wife as I did not have her passport/driving licence or bank card, a letter/bill with her name on wouldn't do either apparently! Reason given was that when couples divorce/split up then one of them could collect the others parcel from the post office, did point out that if I'd been in when they delivered then they would have given it to me as I was at the address the parcel was addressed to so what's the difference? No, had to return with my wife the following weekend. No doubt they've had an issue with someone so have been advised to use the new policy.

Some past postal-related doodles to tickle the funny bone . . .

PS: Have you noticed how they always wear shorts, even in deep winter. What's all that about?

So? I'm wearing shorts right now and I'm not a postie! :p

Our postman used to wear a bowler hat. Apparently there were 2 posties that looked very similar so one of them decided to start wearing the bowler.

Cracking cartoons as always Ian
The second one really made me chuckle :D

They do that here too, well the men do, why don't the women I wonder?
;)
