Hi guys,
possibly a really stupid question, or there is a really easy fix for this, but at the moment I am struggling to find the issue.
I have just bought some YN-04 II triggers and recieved them yesterday. I plugged them all in as per the instructions and took about 20 shots with it all working. Then turned it all off and put them away. A little later on, I tried to use them again, but the flash wouldn't fire remotely, even though I was in the manual setting on my flash (YN-465). The flash would still fire when the pilot button was pressed, and it also fired when it was on the transmitter hot shoe. The reciever was in direct line of sight from the transmitter, and even when pointed straight at the transmitter a matter of a few cm's away it wouldn't fire.
I haven't changed the batteries as they should be brand new (both wrapped), and I haven't any spare ones yet, and the LED / red lights both flash when the shutter button is pressed. The receivers light also flashes every 3 seconds like it should when it is turned on. I have changed the channels on the bottom, and made sure they were both to the same channel, but still no joy.
The lights on the back of the flashgun flash continuously too when attached to the reciever. I don't know if they did that when it was working fine as I was too busy taking shots! :bonk:
Any ideas what I am doing wrong?
Thanks in advance!
