any help is greatly appreciated

Since I think all tickets are roving grandstand, get a good seat there. Stay dry and see over the fence. Club is always a good bet. An action corner and the podium.

For anyone coming. They are using the National Circuit - so Club and International are closed. I am sat in Village.

Sorry, should have said National Pits Straight - trying to type off my phone.

Just a heads-up, the MotoGP is also using the National Straight pits.

Yes, nobody likes to pay for "the wing" except Bernie... something to do with the bill - including the electricity bill apparently...

I would be interested to know best closest places to shoot through fences?

Thanks

Thanks.

IMO

Outside:
Luffield terrace and between brooklands and luffield
On the railing at copse
Through fence at becketts
Into chicane at club low fence and through fence at the exit in front of grandstand
Main grandstands at national woodcote and international
The bank of the bridge over Wellington straight

Inside:

The bank of the bridge at hanger straight
On the bank at vale as they head into club
From the terrace at the wing on the south and north ends
Through photo holes at the loop

Not all of these may be accessible though :)

Thanks Jono, looks like exit of Luffield is the best for me.

Cheers

For bikes it's a little more problematic due to lean angles. You need quite a lot of reach, I'd recommend through fence on the way in to luffield... There's a few on my Flickr (you may have seen) head on with 300mm and 1.4 with a 40D

I've just had a look, I guess they are cropped? I have a 300mm and a 1.7x. Looking at the Google Earth map it looks like exit is closer to the action, mind you its an old map so I'm not sure if they've modified Luffield since they put up the wing?
