I've just recieved my Redsnapper, and was trying to set it up, when I loosened one of the legs and it came out completely, followed by some plastic rings. The other legs lower but are prevented from coming out all the way, but can't say the same thing for this leg. Does anyone know how to put it back together?
I can put the leg back in but it just comes out again.

Why not send them a message to see if they can help you piece it back together properly?

Because there are many people here who use this tripod. I'd literally had it out the box for 10 seconds before this happened, there's probably a simple explanation.

I know that, I use one myself. :)

I'd have thought it would be easier to contact the person who deals with these everyday rather than an end user - mine's certainly never come apart like that so I can't help you I'm afraid.

I did this when trying to clean sand from the tripod. After an initial "WTF" moment I managed to fit the leg back together again without any problems. I seem to remember that a white coloured clip had to be placed around the joint at a certain point to stop the leg section falling out.

As has been said by others, give Joe at Redsnapper a ring, I'm sure he'll be able to talk you through it.

OK, well I had a look at the inside of the other leg, it appears part of the plastic has broken and I am missing a black ring, which is probably the reason the leg came out. I'll have to email the guy, did I hear he's a member here?
