Greetings to all

I'm looking to purchase a Tamron 90mm macro lens for my D300, My question is does anyone know any cheap places or places where you have experianced good value for money with purchasing equiptment. I've checked the usual places such as jessops etc but am sure that I would be able to purchase this lens cheaper.

The one stop digital price is very cheap, might get one myself!

Stan, have you ordered from microglobe yourself?

I've never bought anything from them but the combination of what I've read about them and the service and answers I've received when I've visited their store mean that I never will buy anything from them. Everything is grey-market import with a "well, we'll get the warranty sorted if it breaks." From what I've read, they couldn't care less if anything goes wrong post-sale.

hi lukas..i've not ordered anything from them, but have purchased from their shop in person...my 24-70 siggy.fabs has also bought from them, and when a problem occured with his lens, microglobe got it sorted through sigma by paying for the repair themselves.

having said that...i didn't know at the time that they sold grey imports.

I've bought tons of stuff from Microglobe. They're one of the very few places around where I can ring them in the middle of the afternoon and get a lens delivered at 8:30 the next morning. I think that's pretty good service, at least in this particular dimension.

I'm aware that their stock may be grey imports, but Canon lenses have an international warranty so I don't care. If something I've bought from Microglobe goes wrong, I just send it to Canon. No problem.

I have ordered flash memory from Camerabox.co.uk based in Thame, Oxon. Next day delivery, very good.

Onestop_digital

I paid just under £200 for my used SP90 from MPB, so Onesop_digitals price is very good. I have used them before, excellent service. They supply you with a 6 month return to HK warranty on lenses. Bearing in mind, my used lens also came with a 6 month warranty, you will be getting a brand new lens at a used lens price!
Or, either pay another £100 for a UK warranty or try and get a used lens.
