Does anybody have any recomendations for companies which provide custom icc printer profiles?

Thanks Phil, thats what I was looking at, My color vision system is no longer supported.

I am using a canon mp540 and Costco paper

Have just downloaded free ICC profiles from permajet but would advise using good quality paper if you want good results.

I would advise using the correct paper for the profile if you want good results :|

Thats what I was hinting at without disagreeing with Graham's choice of paper

Hi I use a Canon iP4950 and paid for profiles to be done they were very helpful but after sending my fifth profile to me i gave up non off them were any good despite me doing everything that was required ,then I looked more into my software that came with the printer surprise surprise, there was a facility that prints a pattern for colour adjustment it gives a choice of pattern prints (small pics with various adjustments ) you pick the one that is closest to what output you want and put the numbers in on the Cyan Magenta and yellow it might sound tricky but when you are in printing preferences it is easy must be I can do it :bonk: It has made a vast difference to my set-up and my prints are the same as what is on the screen hope this helps

Profiles are only as good as the printed target and the machine used to record.

On a general level there is a company called 'Pure Profiles' too.

Hi Ross,

Many Thanks, I will try it next weekend when I get back home, I am away on business at the moment
